Shipping and returns

We deliver within New Zealand only. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

Delivery

  • We deliver to addresses in New Zealand. We cannot deliver overseas.
  • Delivery cost and any free shipping threshold are shown in your cart before you pay.
  • We dispatch orders within 2 business days. Delivery time depends on the courier and your location, and is shown in your cart.
  • You will receive an order confirmation email once payment is complete.
  • Please check your order when it arrives and tell us straight away if anything is missing or damaged.

Returns and refunds

Faulty or incorrect products. If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or not what you ordered, email team@asylum.nz with your order number and a photo. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and we will cover the return cost.

Changed your mind. You can return a product that is unopened and still in its original sealed packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. You pay the return postage, and original delivery costs are not refunded.

Opened containers. Open containers will not be accepted as a return. Once a seal has been broken or a product has been used, we cannot take it back because you have changed your mind, for hygiene and safety reasons. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty or not as described.

Skin reactions. Stop using a product if your skin reacts to it, and email us. If you are concerned, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.

How to return something

  1. Email team@asylum.nz with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We will confirm and tell you where to send it.
  3. Once we receive and check the product, we refund the original payment method. Refunds usually reach you within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Your rights

Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
